The NCT supports and campaigns for all parents regardless of how they choose to feed their babies.

We want all parents to feel supported in their decision regarding how they feed their baby.
We know that breastfeeding provides babies with the healthiest possible start in life in terms of growth and development. We aim to raise awareness of the barriers faced by those who want to breastfeed and we campaign for more supports to allow women to overcome these barriers.

We recognise that not all parents choose to breastfeed for a variety of reasons and we support those parents who choose to feed their babies formula milk in their decision. We campaign for a society which allows parents who decide to use formula milks to access clear, non-commercial information about how to store and prepare these milks.
