Welcome to the Amber Valley Branch

The Amber Valley Branch covers the area of the Amber Valley District, which includes the towns of Ambergate, Bakewell, Belper, Duffield, Heanor, Matlock, Ripley, Wirksworth and surounding areas.

The branch is run entirely by local parent volunteers and we offer support, information, understanding and friendship to help new (and old) parents and parents-to-be.

We are a friendly and active branch with regular events held predominantly in Belper. We offer the following activities and services:

• Antenatal classes
• Breastfeeding support
• Bra Fitting
• Branch Newsleter (quarterly)
• Breastpump Hire
• Bumps and Babies Group (weekly)
• Nearly New Sales (held twice a year)
• New Member Coffee Mornings (held quarterly)
• Social events
• Toddler Group (weekly)
• Valley Cushion Hire

We are always looking for volunteers to help on our committee and with other events. At present, our branch is predominantly centred around Belper, but we would love to extend the reach of the NCT to other areas of the Amber Vally and particularly welcome contact from anyone who would like to volunteer in those areas.
