Experience Register

Contact Liz Cooper via banburynct.enquiries@gmail.com

There can't be many new or expectant parents who haven't at some stage wished they could talk to someone who has experienced the particular problem they are facing, or simply have more knowledge of a subject. Sometimes you may feel like you are the only person who has a particular issue or problem.

One of the great advantages of the Banbury NCT is the wealth of experiences our members have. We can put you in touch with someone who knows what you are facing. It can be very reassuring to speak to someone who has dealt with a similar issue about how they have come through it, plus give you any tips they have learned along the way.

If you would like some support on a particular topic and would like to contact someone by phone or email (or if you're very lucky, over a cuppa and slice of cake!), then contact me, Liz Cooper, via banburynct.enquiries@gmail.com. I will arrange for a suitable contact from the experience register to contact you as soon as possible.

The types of experiences our team of mums and dads on the register can help with are below. If your concern is not listed please get in touch anyway and we will do our best to find someone who can help.

It's important to note that while our volunteers may have a wealth of experience in a particular topic, it is exactly that - their experience, so it may well be very different from yours despite similar circumstances. Please remember that we are not medical practitioners, so if you have any concerns over the health or wellbeing of yourself or your child, please speak to your GP or Health Visitor.

We also need volunteers for the register! If you have been through an experience and would like to help others experiencing the same thing then I would also love to hear from you. All contact is arranged through me, the register holder, confidentially. I will send you the details of the person who would like to talk to you so that you can contact them at a time that is mutually convenient.

I very much look forward to hearing from you - Liz Cooper.
