Baby Cafe Breastfeeding Support

Baby Cafe is a thriving network of free drop-in centres helping around 10,000 mums each year across the UK. Expectant and new mums, their babies and partners, family members and friends are welcome to come for breastfeeding advice from a trained Breastfeeding Counsellor, to socialise with other parents, and relax with tea, coffee and homemade cake! You are also welcome to attend if you are formula feeding your baby. Baby Massage Classes

NCT baby massage course for babies aged 6 weeks to crawling, held over 5 weeks at Holy Trinity Church, Beckenham. Contact 0844 243 6046 or bookings4j@nct.org.uk.

Bake Club

Bra Fitting

Breast Pump Hire

For mothers in Beckenham and Borders with difficulties in the early weeks of breastfeeding, or who want to return to work and continue to breastfeed, electric breast pumps are invaluable. If you or someone you know needs a breast pump, contact Mel at mel1skinner@hotmail.com.

Car Seat Centre

Offers free advice on correct use and fitting of all child car seats, for more information telephone 020 8313 4498 for Bromley or 020 8314 2254 for Lewisham.

Classes For Second Time Parents

Early Pregnancy Evening

This information session takes place on the first Tuesday of every month at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH, formally Farnborough hospital). Information is available from a range of organisations and services, including some from the NHS and the NCT.

Happy Mondays Playgroup

The NCT Beckenham and Borders weekly playgroup, held at Beckenham Methodist Church each Monday morning. This is a drop in session, so no need to book, but we fill up early so don't leave it too late! Contact nctbeckenham.happymondays@gmail.com or check out our facebook page.

Next Baby Teas

Informal get-togethers for parents with more than one young child, hosted by group members in their homes. A friendly supportive group where older children are always welcome. Contact nctbeckenham.nextbaby@gmail.com.

Postnatal Teas

Informal get-togethers for new mothers, hosted by local NCT members and invaluable for meeting new mothers in your neighbourhood. Members should be contacted by our Postnatal Tea Coordinator shortly after the birth of their baby. Further information is detailed on the Postnatal Teas page under the Early Days section. Relax, Stretch & Breathe Classes

A weekly class of stretches and relaxation for women over 12 weeks pregnant, with lots of extra information for labour and afterwards, held in Bromley on Saturday mornings. Contact 020 8462 2004.

Twins and Multiple Births
