If you are new to the area or have lived here for years, and you are pregnant or you have a young baby, then give us a call! We’d love to meet you, there are lots of local events for you to come to and meet new people, including Antenatal Classes, Bumps and Babies, Early Days Courses, Nearly New Sales, Cheeky Monkey Tea Parties, Breastfeeding Support Groups and more. 

The Birmingham West Branch of the NCT is run by volunteers who are all local parents. Our aim is to offer local parents and parents-to-be invaluable support, friendship, services and NCT events, to help them get the most out of their new roles as parents. We provide:

• Support networks for parents – our NCT branch will support you before, during and after your baby arrives; we run Antenatal classes to help prepare you for the arrival of your baby, postnatal Early Days Courses to enable you to meet other new mums in your area and to share and learn from each other and Bumps and Babies sessions to meet other parents socially over a cup of tea or coffee.
• NCT Nearly New Sales -the cost of kitting out your baby or toddler can run into thousands. NCT Nearly New Sales are the perfect solution - top-quality baby and children's clothes and equipment at bargain prices straight from their loving owners. We run them twice a year, so if you want to sell, buy or volunteer to help, get in touch!
• NCT volunteering opportunities - have fun helping with NCT branch activities, use your skills to support local parents and meet new people from your community.
• Local NCT social and fundraising events - giving you the chance to meet other parents while supporting your local branch and the wider NCT.  You are very welcome to join us! 

Branches are the local FACE of NCT - "Fun, Accessible, Caring and Encouraging" - they aim to reflect these values in their local community, so do join in!
