Coffee Mornings and regular Meet Up's
We’re lucky here in Brighton and Hove to have so much on offer for parents and babies. But in fact, when it comes to opportunities for meeting and socialising with other parents, if you don’t want to attend classes, it can sometimes feel hard to make connections and whilst many NCT members make firm friends amongst their antenatal group, what happens if you don’t though?
Part of our branch remit is to offer support and social opportunities to members after the birth of their child, and we do that in a number of ways:
Cafe Baby, is a regular meet up for mums to be or mums with babes in arms held at the Book Nook on First Avenue in Hove, every Weds morning from 10.30am until 12 noon
Open House Coffee Mornings, are an opportunity for all members to meet others in their areas, find support and socialise. For a list of the next coffee mornings please email: postnatalsupportnct@gmail.com
And finally our Tea Group scheme, will provide a space for new parents to meet others with babies of a similar age (born within a month or so of each other), but these are by invitation only I'm afraid so we can make sure all the babies are roughly the same age.
We are also hoping to have a regular Bumps, Babes and Blunders group up and running soon in Central Brighton (BN2) on Monday mornings. Again please email postnatalsupportnct@gmail.com for more information or if you're able to help us out hosting the meet up.
