For anybody who is considering a home birth - very informal meetings for those planning or just want to know more about home birth, attended by local parents who have had their baby at home recently, a local community midwife and an NCT Antenatal Teacher. Meetings are the first Monday of every other month; i.e. January (Due to Bank Holidays this meeting is on January 9th), March, May (2nd Monday to avoid the BH), July, September and November from 8pm til 10pm. Drinks and biscuits provided. The meetings have been running for 4 ½ years, and have always been supported by the Bromsgrove Community Midwifery Team. Supported by the Bromsgrove branch of the NCT, so free for members and non-members alike; NCT information sheets on Home Birth and Water Birth are also available FOC. Confidentiality respected.
