What is a Nearly New Sale?

Nearly New Sales are a fantastic opportunity to pick up excellent quality ‘nearly new’ baby and child clothing and equipment at fantastic prices. They are not like jumble sales, but well organised and quality controlled! Unlike buying off the internet, you can see items before you buy and save a fortune on postage. You name it, someone will be selling it, from birth balls, buggies, bumbos, baby bjorns, books and baby bouncers to jigsaw puzzles, moses baskets, feeding cushions, raincoats and everything in between.

How to Sell

Volunteer to help

Every Nearly New Sale needs lots of volunteers to make it happen, so we’re really grateful for all offers to help out, if only for a couple of hours. The sale is run entirely by volunteers - so volunteering really does make a difference to the success of the day and to the money that the branch makes for future activity.

The sale is a great way to meet other branch members, and they’ve even been known to be great fun! Plus there’s the added bonus that all volunteers get the chance to buy at the sale preview, before the doors open to the public.

If you can't help on the day why not help us stock the refreshments stall? Refreshments raise a lot of money for the branch each year, so please bake (or buy!) a cake and bring it along to the sale on the day - every fairy cake counts!

Help by donating items for the NCT to sell

If you donate clothes/equipment/toys/books to the organising team for us to sell on the NCT’s behalf, 100% of the money raised goes to branch to assist with our fundraising.
