We hold four Nearly New Sales each year, where you can get some great bargains, and sell your unwanted children’s toys and clothes and help support the NCT too!

We sell newborn and children’s clothes, maternity wear, toys and equipment (such as prams and cots).

Generally our sales are held at Albany Road Baptist Church Hall, Blenheim Road, Roath, Cardiff, but it is worth checking before you set out, by looking in events, our small talk newsletter, or calling the branch information line.

We charge a small entrance fee, which helps support the work of the branch.

Anyone can sell items at the sale (you do not have to be a member of the NCT), and each item sold raises money for yourself and the National Childbirth Trust, each seller may bring 50 items of clothes.

ONLY THE FIRST 100 SELLERS WILL BE ADMITTED TO THE SALE.
'We do not operate a pre-registration system for sellers'.

All items must be nearly new, complete and in good condition. We do not accept soft toys, shoes or trainers, hand knitted goods, mains electrical equipment, car seats, booster seats, sit-in baby walkers, mattresses, breast pumps, baby bouncers, riding hats, cycling helmets, clothing with drawstring necks or prams, pushchairs and buggies that do not conform to BS 7409 or which have an intregral car sea, 'video's, used underwear, used bottles, teats and dummies.

For those items that you cannot sell through our Nearly New Sales, such as prams without instructions or some larger items, a classified advertising service is available through our quarterly newsletter, Connect. If you would like to place an advert, please email Newsletter for more details.

1.00pm start for nct members (remember your card) and 1.15pm for non members.

The team would welcome volunteers to help on the day or to join the team to help organise future events.
