Why contact your local branch?
Find a support network
NCT branches support you before, during and after your baby arrives. NCT volunteers offer you opportunities to meet up and make friends and share experience at coffee mornings, bumps and babies sessions and other support groups.
The Chester branch runs a series of ante-natal and breastfeeding classes, at weekends or evenings. We also offer refresher antenatal courses for subsequent pregnancies. When your baby has arrived, there is a post-natal discussion course, which enables you to share and explore your experiences of new motherhood - and make more new friends.
NCT Nearly New Sales
The cost of kitting out your baby or toddlers can run into thousands of pounds. That is why NCT Nearly New Sales are the perfect solution, offering pre-loved top-quality baby and children’s clothes and equipment at bargain prices.
We hold 3 Nearly New Sales throughout the year, which are always very popular. Cash-strapped parents and parents-to-be can find all the top quality baby clothes, toys and equipment they need at our upcoming sale and save around 70% on what they would cost brand new.
NCT First Aid Course
*** New for 2014 *** We now offer Baby First Aid classes. You can find more on our Baby First Aid page.

Local NCT social and fundraising events - Supporting the local community
Chester branch gives you the chance to meet other parents while supporting your local branch and the wider NCT.
Back in October 2011, the branch launched Breastfeeding Friendly Chester (BFFC), a scheme aimed at providing parents with information on locations across Chester which have signed commitments to make breastfeeding families welcome.
NCT events and services are open to all parents and parents-to-be, members and non- members.
For parents that have particular needs or access requirements, including disabled parents, we do our best to ensure that these needs are met. If you have particular needs or access requirements that it would be helpful for us to know about, please contact us to discuss how these can be met.
