Volunteers, parents and expectant parents just like you, run our branch.

We really welcome new people to get involved to keep the branch going, raise funds and help raise awareness of the NCT. We would love to do more and more in the Chester area and if you would like to help us achieve that aim please consider joining us. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, just commit whatever time you can or your previous experience and skills. It is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and represent the NCT.

Some examples of the ways you could get involved include:

• Writing an article for our newsletter
• Helping organise an event / run an event
• Work with our campaigns team
• Background Administration
• Manning our telephone line
• Answering email enquiries
• Get involved with our Famous Nearly New Sales
• Dads are more than welcome to volunteer, as well as mums!

We hold volunteers meetings to plan and organise social and fundraising events every four to six weeks and weekly we hold our "Bumps, Babies and Bundles of Fun" and "NCT Dads" social groups. (Please see events page for more details)

We are currently looking to increase our number of volunteers and have a put together a wishlist for helpers (see related document). If you fancy making new friends, are up for a bit of a challenge or would like to use your skills, we are waiting to hear from you now nctchester@yahoo.co.uk.
