We all know it can be expensive kitting out children so our Nearly New Sales are a fantastic way of helping with the costs. Buy or sell everything from prams and toys to changing mats and clothes, all high quality at great prices.Not only can you grab a bargain or make some money if you are a seller, the Nearly New Sales raise much needed funds as 35% of the sales total goes directly to the NCT.

Our next sale is on Saturday 17th March 2012 at Dr Challoner's Grammar School, Amersham from 1.30 - 2.45pm (1.00pm for NCT members with valid membership card). Entrance fee is £1.00 (free after 2.15pm).

Get the most out of the sale

Here are a few top tips on how to get the most out of the sale:

• Arrive in plenty of time as there is usually a queue.
• NCT members are allowed earlier entry so consider joining ahead of the sale.
• Don’t bring bags or pushchairs as these will not be allowed inside the hall.
• The sale is on 2 floors so if you are disabled or have any special requirements, please contact the sale co-ordinator and we will do our best to accommodate you.
• Think about how you are going to get your shopping home – we cannot help carry to the car. Please consider bringing a helper if you plan to buy any large or heavy items.
• The sales are often very busy and may not be suitable for young children.
• Remember the sale layout: Upstairs – Toys, clothes, books, DVDs/videos Downstairs – Pushchairs, cots, highchairs, ride on toys, equipment, tills and exit
• We know many shoppers come to the sale for specific, big purchases such as a pram or cot so there will be a ‘bulky items’ till where these items can be paid for and stored whilst you continue to shop. Please note there is no longer a ‘holding bay’ and any item being stored must be paid for first. Items can be stored for up to 30 minutes.
• Following the success at the last sale, this year we we will have a small number of chip and pin payment facilities at the sale, don’t worry they’ll be clearly marked so you’ll easily find them!
