Would you know what to do if your baby needed First Aid?

Chiswick and Hammersmith NCT now offers First Aid Workshops in conjunction with First Aid for Life. The workshop provides you with practical training and the chance to get ‘hands on’ so you have the skills and the confidence to know what to do in an emergency.

Members from other branches who have attended the workshop, report that they have enjoyed themselves tremendously and feel much more confident afterwards. One recent attendee commented "The hands-on elements with the mannequins were great, particularly learning what to do if my baby is choking, realising how hard one needs to push for CPR and learning the life and death importance of the recovery position. Now I am also aware what I need to do in those first seconds if a cup of hot coffee spills on my baby."

Designed so that you can book on as a group or as individuals, the three hour workshops are fun, informative and relaxed. You can attend either before or after your baby is born.

Groups are a maximum number of 8. Cost is £55 per head for daytime workshops and £60 per head for evening workshops.

Places must be booked in advance and are limited, so please get in touch asap. We aim to run at least one daytime and one evening workshop a month. If you would like to book with your NCT group, please get in touch.
