Get Involved
Get Involved - We need your help
We are a great branch, we offer an amazing range of support to new parents and parents-to-be, we raise lots of money to support the work of NCT nationally and we have lots of fun.
Like all NCT branches our branch is run by volunteers, we need your help to make sure that our branch can continue to support in our area. NCT volunteers often have babies and young children, some work full time and some don’t – they are just like you …
If you had a support mum, if you have been to one of our open houses, if you’ve benefitted from our Birth Choices after Caesarean group, if you’ve bagged a bargain at one of our Nearly New Sales or enjoyed reading ’The Crier’ you have used services provided by our NCT volunteers.
We need more volunteers to help us to continue these activities - as you can see there are essential roles vacant on our Who’s Who list - we need to fill these as soon as possible to ensure that our branch continues to be so successful. We also need cake bakers, newsletter article writers and lots of other ‘little’ things - there really is a role for everyone.
Please don’t wait for SOMEBODY else to volunteer to ensure that Coventry branch has enough volunteers to continue to offer support to parents. EVERYBODY is being asked to help and ANYBODY can but if NOBODYdoes then unfortunately the branch will close - this means no local NCT support, no NCT Open Houses and no NCT Nearly New Sales - we don’t want this to happen and we are sure you don’t either. IfEVERYBODY helps a little bit we will have a stronger team.
Would you like to:
Expand your baby-friendly social network?
Keep your professional skills active or learn new ones?
Have your say in the activities and services we offer?
Have a regular evening out? .
know how you can help!
This is your branch - be part of it and make a difference.
Support and training is available for all NCT volunteers.
All roles can be shared with a friend
Vacancies
The following volunteer vacancies are available within the branch. If you are interested in any of these vacancies please contact coventrynct@googlemail.com for further details. If you feel that you are unable to take on any roles below, but still want to volunteer for the branch, we are always looking for general volunteers to help out. Many roles can also be shared. Please contact us as the branch relies on volunteers to continue to thrive. All new commitee/branch support members are given as much support as possible, plus, it's a great way to get to know other NCT members!
