If you have been supported by the NCT and want to make a difference for other parents, why not think about volunteering for us?

 Why? Because you’ll make new friends, have fun, learn new skills all at the same time.

What tasks? There’s something to interest everyone! The tasks range from helping at a Nearly New Sale or delivering a branch newsletter, to keeping the local membership database, planning and organising fundraising events, computer based book-keeping, representing NCT on outside bodies, evaluating research, writing articles, editing newsletters … 

What Skills? Administration, marketing, IT, budgets, coordination, events management, campaigning, research, training – in fact everything you’ve done before can be adapted. Or, you can learn a new skill that will be useful for your CV in the future.

How much time? As little, or as much, as you want. Tasks can always be broken down and shared between friends or others in the team.
