Early Days Phone Line

If you have any questions about life with a new baby you can call NCT Early Days™ line to speak to a postnatal leader. Call 0300 3300773 Monday to Friday from 9am until 1pm.

National Experience Register

The national NCT office holds an extensive register of people who have personal experience of a range of birth and parenting related issues and problems who are happy to offer advice and support to parents with similar experiences.

Breastfeeding

We have a number of breastfeeding counsellors based in and around the Eastleigh area. They have extensive knowledge and experience of breastfeeding success, issues and problems. They are ready to listen to you, support and help you and are happy to talk over the phone, or visit you at home if you need or want them to.

Our breastfeeding counsellors are trained by the NCT and are constantly updated with developments in their field. Their service is free and confidential. Please see the Breastfeeding Support page for further details. 

Breast Pump Hire

Hire one of our Electric breast pumps. These are particularly useful for continuing breastfeeding after returning to work and can be used in helping to breastfeed premature or sick babies. For more information or to hire a pump, please contact 0300 33 00 771.

Valley Cushion Hire

Sitting comfortably after delivery is often easier said than done. The valley cushion provides welcome relief whether sitting in a chair or in bed by allowing you to adjust the level of support whilst ensuring sore areas are kept free from painful pressure.

NCT Breastfeeding Bras

Have your bra fitted by a trained fitter. The NCT’s award winning breastfeeding bras come in a range of styles and sizes from 32-44, A to K. It is usually best to be fitted for bras at around 34-38 weeks of pregnancy. A Social Life!

Some mums are lucky enough to have a ready made circle of friends from an antenatal group or through midwife led groups, if you are one of the many mums who might be feeling a bit isolated after the birth of your baby, the NCT can help with your social life too!

We hold a weekly Bumps and Babies Group in Chandlers Ford (term time only) and monthly branch meetings. Please see the Bumps and Babies page for more details of our group and keep an eye on our Events page.
