Next Nearly New Sale: 22nd September 2012

We are looking for team members to help organise our Nearly New Sales. Please contact us if you are interested in getting involved.

NCT Falkirk and West Lothian Branch’s Nearly New Sales have been awarded the Gold Standard. This accolade recognises that the branch’s Sales are among the best in the UK, both in terms of providing a valuable service for new and expectant parents and achieving fantastic fundraising success for NCT charity.

Our Nearly New Sales are fantastic sources of good quality equipment, baby clothes, toys and maternity wear as well as a profitable outlet for your stock of outgrown and unwanted items. If you’re looking for a bargain, just turn up on the day of the sale. There is plenty of car parking, a large hall for the sale and we will be offering a cafe serving tea, coffee and homebaking. If you have good quality toys, equipment and clothes (for under 5's) that are looking for a new home, why not register as a seller? Or maybe you'd like to volunteer to help out at the sale?

£1 entry per adult, children go free

We will have an Exhibitor Area at the Nearly New Sale. A list of the organisations that will be represented will be available nearer the time.

Registration for sellers will open ~6 weeks before the sale

Registration for the Falkirk and West Lothian Spring NCT Nearly New Sale will open ~6 weeks before the sale.

Places to sell are limited and we are always oversubscribed. Please contact as soon as possible to book your seller place.  We can be contacted on fwlnns@gmail.com or 0844 243 6129.
 
All NCT members will be allowed entry 15 minutes before the official start time. This early entry will only be granted on production of a valid membership card. If you’re not a member and would like to join, please contact Giovanna on 0844 243 6129 (Option 4) or send an e-mail to falkirkandwestlothian@gmail.com

Updates for our NNS!

You may not know that the NCT Nearly New Sales are the biggest fundraisers for our branch and are vital for the support of the services that we offer locally, as well as nationally.  Just by selling or buying at our sale you help us to raise funding but we really appreciate the help of anyone who is able to volunteer on the day too!  Without our volunteers we wouldn't be able to run our sale, so this year we're doing all we can to support you and to show our appreciation.

The registration fee of £5 covers the cost of administration, postage and the coloured clothing labels which are sent to you once you have registered. Commission is 35% and on items over £50 there is a flat fee commission of £15.

Could you spare any time to help us at the sale? If you volunteer to help on the day you'll be given guidance about sale day tasks before the actual sale, so you know where to go and what to do. Refreshments are provided during the day and as a volunteer you also have an opportunity for exclusive pre-sale shopping. So come along and get involved on the day - even if you're not selling we would really appreciate your help!
