The Big Push sponsored Buggy Push

The Big Push, Saturday 14th July, 10:30am, Charlton Park

The Big push is a sponsored walk and buggy push around Charlton Park to raise money to combat isolation in new parents and support our Baby Cafe. As well as a child-friendly walk we are planning a picnic and some entertainment for children.

We would love to see you there to have some family fun, and to raise money to support other new parents.

  1. To register for The Big Push go to http://selfservice.nct.org.uk/, ‘log in’ if you are an NCT member or ‘register’ if you are not an NCT member (you do not have to be a member of NCT to take part).  Alternatively please complete the downloadable registration form. 
  2. If you would like to create a fundraising page for your participation in the Big Push, simply follow the steps below:
    • Click ‘Make your page’
    • Search for and select ‘NCT’
    • Click on ‘Organised Event’
    • Select the Greenwich NCT event
    • Create your page

3.     Get your friends and family to join in or sponsor you

  1. Come along and enjoy the park with your family!

Entry is a donation of £5 per participant (or £8 for a family entry).

New breastfeeding support

Greenwich Bumps and Babies 

 

Every Thursday 10:30-11:30

National Maritime Museum Cafe,
King William Street, Greenwich, SE10 9NF

Bumps and Babies drop-in groups are run on a weekly basis at the cafe at the National Maritime Museum 10:30-11:30, for all parents to be and new parents, and are open to NCT members and non-members. The aim is to offer support and share experiences, and to encourage friendships. Just turn up, no booking necessary. 


We hope to start a weekly programme of events at the Bumps and Babies meet-ups, including talks by health professionals, taster sessions for babies activities, postnatal exercise classes and baby photography.

  • NCT Nearly New Sales - the cost of kitting out your baby or toddler can run into thousands. NCT Nearly New Sales are the perfect solution - top-quality baby and children's clothes and equipment at bargain prices straight from their loving owners.
  • NCT volunteering opportunities - have fun helping with NCT branch activities, use your skills to support local parents and meet new people from your community.
  • Local NCT social and fundraising events - giving you the chance to meet other parents while supporting your local branch and the wider NCT

Branches are the local FACE of NCT - "Fun, Accessible, Caring and Encouraging" - They aim to reflect these values in their local community, so do join in!
