Our postnatal teagroups help introduce new mothers to others living close by, and are initially hosted by local HINCT volunteers at their houses.

The groups are usually set up when your baby is between 3 - 12 weeks old, as we combine two monthly due dates e.g. Jan+Feb, Mar+Apr etc.They are organised by local postcode areas and are deliberately small groups, between 6-8 parents, to help them maintain contact and meet regularly in local cafes, parks or each others homes.

• E8+E9

Members should automatically receive an invite via email if we know your due date, however if you haven't heard from us by the time your baby is born please contact us on teagroups_hinct@yahoo.co.uk with your details (baby's birthdate, postcode area, phone number). We also try to keep details of the these groups to ensure that new mums moving into the area with a baby are able to tap into an existing group.

These informal gatherings are a great chance to chat to other local parents with babies of similar ages to you. Screaming, hungry, grumpy, happy babies are all welcome! However, please do note that these get togethers are not "drop ins" and a reply to an invitation would be appreciated!
