Post-natal Friends Groups

Post-natal groups are made up of mums (or dads if they are the main carer) with babies of a similar age who live roughly within pram-pushing distance of each other. Groups usually meet weekly in each other's homes, or at a local coffee shop. They can provide a source of friendship and support to each other at a life-changing time. Group size is usually between four and eight mums and their babies.

New NCT members will be grouped by local area and, in the months following the birth of their baby, invited to attend to a first meet up hosted by the local Postnatal Friend. Groups of second time and working parents are also created where there is interest.

To find out about becoming part of a group, contact the Postnatal Friends Co-ordinator, Alice Cann, at alicecann@yahoo.co.uk, with your name and address and your baby’s name and date of birth
