Bumps & Babes
Bumps & Babes groups are an opportunity to make new friends, share experiences and have some fun!
To join a group, call Gemma on 0844 2436162 and we'll be in touch
Bumps & Babes are groups where mums to be and new mums can meet up with others who have due dates at around the same time or have the same birth month. Groups are set up every month and are held in a local venue usually on a weekly basis. If you are on the waiting list for antenatal classes you will be contacted automatically to see if you are interested in joining. If not then please contact the branch to find out more information.
We are always looking for mums to help organise / run our Bumps & Babes groups. Typically these will be mums who already have a child, although not exclusively, so if you are interested please contact the branch on 0844 2436162 and Sarah Hall, our Postnatal Coordinator, will get in touch to explain what is involved and the support she will provide on an ongoing basis.
Not sure if this is your sort of thing?? Well just read some of the quotes below and see what other mums have found....
Sarah G: "My daughter is 4 years old now and I still regularly meet with the mums I met through my Bumps & Babes group, we have been there for each other through the good times, the bad times, the births of our second children and i can honestly say that with out their love and support my world would have been an emptier place"
Barbara M: "Our Bumps & Babes group grew from a few of us up to about 12 new mums at one stage. We all try to keep in contact either meeting up with the kids or for a girl’s night out. Even the dad’s have a regular dad’s night out! The friendship and support we’ve given each other has been invaluable. Our children are now all around 20 months old and a couple of our mums have recently had their second child!"
