The NCT Nearly New Sale is run entirely by volunteers who give up their time to make the sales a success and raise money for our branch. We are very grateful to all our helpers. It is hard work, but also great fun – and very rewarding. Some of our team have been volunteering at our sales for over 10 years; whilst others helped out for the first time at our last sale. We are a friendly team, so even if you have never helped at a sale in the past and don’t know anyone yet, you will be made to feel most welcome. It’s a great way to make new friends too! As a helper, you are able to beat the rush and be one of the first to grab the bargains by shopping at thepre-sale helpers’ sale. We have a variety of jobs that need doing at each sale:

• Helping to lay out the goods for sale and tidy up at the end.
• Helping to pack goods at the checkout.
• Running or staffing the tills.
• Helping with the totalling of tickets.
• Finance and Admin.

Our helpers’ day is 9.00am to 2.30pm. If you are interested in finding out more about helping, please contact our Helpers’ Co-ordinator.
