Volunteers, parents and expectant parents just like you, run our branch. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, just commit whatever time you can or your previous experience and skills. It is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and represent the NCT. Get in touch and get involved.

Hillingdon NCT is run entirely by volunteers who are mums and dads like YOU. We are here to support you as new parents with a huge variety of events and services, but with your help we could do even more!

• 2 Christmas shopping evenings
• 2 teddy bears’ picnics
• 3 sponsored walks
• 2 quiz nights
• 2 prize draws
• 3 stalls at parenting seminars
• 1 charities fair stall

We have raised thousands of pounds for our charity and have funded the training of our antenatal teachers and breastfeeding counsellor as well as supporting NCT’s national campaigns and services like the Breastfeeding Line and Pregnancy and Birth Line.

As NCT volunteers we get a lot of satisfaction from being able to help make life a little easier for new parents in our area, but we also get a lot out of the NCT ourselves. It's fun being an NCT volunteer - you meet other local parents, make lasting friendships, learn new skills, keep your CV up to date, work as part of a friendly, supportive team with regular social meetings as well as organising local NCT events and services.
