We are delighted to be able to offer baby and child first aid courses in conjunction with the British Red Cross and this unique 2 hour training course has been specifically designed for the NCT.

Open to members and non-members, it will be run in a relaxed, enjoyable environment with plenty of opportunity to ask questions if you wish. The course will use baby manikins to provide parents and carers reassurance and confidence in first aid techniques. The first aid knowlege gained in this course can provide essential techniques that can save a child's life.

The course will cover:

• Unconscious baby and child (breathing and not breathing)
• Choking
• Bleeding
• Burns
• Raised temperatures

The cost is just £25 per person (£45 per couple). Places are limited so if you are interested please give Amy a call on 400891 to book your place.

The next course is booked for Thursday May 17th at the Church on the Roundabout, Newport from 7 - 9pm. Cost of £25 per person or £45 per couple; a small price to pay for a chance to learn how to save a childs/babies life or prevent/treat injury/illness.
