About the NCT

Leatherhead & District Branch is a large branch of the NCT encompassing Leatherhead, Ashtead, Fetchem, Oxshott, Bookham, the Horsleys and Effingham. Our members are pregnant women or parents of young children and are without a doubt a highly targeted and lucrative audience and our advertising opportunities offer local businesses valuable access to this audience.

As well as running antenatal courses, we are an active branch running regular 'Bumps and Babes' groups, Nearly New Sales, annual NCTea Party and AGM. We also publish a quarterly newsletter covering subjects of interest to local parents and adverts of local companies of interest to NCT members. All of this is run entirely by volunteers who want to help other parents to enjoy their birth and parenting experience and to continue the good work of the NCT.

Advertising Opportunities

Newsletter advertising

Our newsletter, ‘Pitter Patter’ is usually sent out by post to members quarterly and the magazine is a valuable source of information for our members, not only for the support and informative articles but also as a handy reference guide to local activities, events and service providers. Advertising copy deadlines are usually 6 weeks prior to publication.

Our newsletter is an A5 production in black and white with several full colour pages. Print run is 300+ copies per issue. To compliment the 50 plus pages of news, reviews and vital information for parents, each edition usually comprises 20+ adverts from local companies, the majority of which buy advertising in a series of four issues for which they receive a 20% loyalty discount on the rate card prices below.

Invoicing on publication of first issue. Please note that advertising revenue pays for the printing and paper used to produce the magazine, Leatherhead and District branch of the NCT is non-profit making organisation.

Flyers

We hold very popular Nearly New Sales of children's toys, clothes and equipment twice a year. We offer advertisers the opportunity to put leaflets in the goody bags handed out to all buyers. The bags contain information related to the NCT and a maximum of 5 advertisers can put a flyer each: Flyers advertising rate (no VAT applicable) 150 flyers: £13.
