Nearly New Sales

NEARLY NEW SALES - Dates for your diary:

WHAT TIME - 11:15am - 1pm (NCT members with a valid membership card are admitted from 11am)
 
 
ENTRANCE FEE - £2 admission per person
 
 
Pedestrian Access to the School
Pedestrian access to the school is via the public footpath from Duck’s Meadow, past the entrance to the old school (now a Crest Nicholson building site) to the southern boundary. The way is sign posted.
Vehicular Access to the School
The GPS (SatNav) companies have still not updated their software with our new access via Granham Hill. Therefore, please use the co-ordinates below rather than the school postcode to ensure you receive the correct directions:
  • Entrance to St John’s from the Pewsey Road (A345): Co-ordinates: N51 24.605 W1 44.115
  • Co-ordinates of the front door are: N51 24.874 W1 43.715

 For the Spring 2012 Sale we have extended the size of our sale space. We are now using the fantastic theatre at the school in addition to the light and airy foyer. Our sale now covers almost as much floor space as the Marlborough Tesco store!
 
SELLERS - Spring clean your clutter!
Seller registration is OPEN from Sunday 11th March. Become a SELLER at the Nearly New Sale and let the NCT do the work for you.
Please select "Selling" in the menu for more information, including a seller registration form and instruction pack.
  • Seller packs are allocated on a first come first served basis
  • Sell up to 110 items per pack - you can order more than one pack
  • From maternity, nursery and baby equipment, to school-age games, toys clothes and books
  • Drop off your stuff in the morning - then simply collect any unsold items in the afternoon
  • No need to stand at your table all day selling
  • £4.50 registration fee - NEW - now you can pay online via JustGiving
  • The NCT will deduct 30% of the sale price as commission with a maximum commission value of £20 per item
  • General NNS guidelines and T&Cs are available in our seller pack. These will give all the information you need to become a seller and help you get the best out of selling at our NCT Sale

BUYERS - Let your Baby Boom on a Budget
  • All welcome! Not just for NCT members.
  • £2 admission per person
  • Doors open exclusively to members only for 15 mins from 11am (with valid membership card).
  • To benefit and to become a member, click on "Join NCT" in the top right-hand corner for more info.
  • Stalls will feature at the sale
  • Refreshments available
 
ADVERTISING OUR SALE
Please help us promote this event to make it our best ever In order to help us to get the most out of the Nearly New Sale, why not print out one of our posters (see related documents) and put it up where you think people might be interested to hear about a great place to find all sorts of bargains under one roof for people with (or expecting) young children. If you are a seller, this is a great way to make sure we get even more buyers Just one poster in your office staff room, local cafe or child's nursery could be seen by dozens or more people - even if they are not interested they might mention it to someone who is.

VOLUNTEERS

We can't manage NCT events without a large number of volunteers who help on the day. If you volunteer on the day, you get to attend the pre-sale before doors open to the general public.
