What’s on in North Cheshire branch?

We have a range of regular social events in the branch and plan to add more, so if you’d like something which you don’t see here then please feel free to get in touch – or better still, volunteer to organise it! We are always on the look out for new volunteers, as they are the life blood of the branch,and it’s a great way to make new friends in the local area and keep your brain functioning as well.

All our events are open to members and non-members alike, and there’s a voluntary suggested donation of £1 per family attending.

Bumps & Babes

Our Bumps & Babes events are for pregnant mums and those with babies up to a year old. We meet in Stockton Heath in South Warrington on Mondays, at Pizza Express on the second Monday of the month and Coffee au Clay every other week. You get a free tea or coffee (and we often end up staying for pizza, though it’s not obligatory!). We meet in the Jungle soft play centre in North Warrington on Thursdays in term time and again you get a free tea or coffee.

In November 2011, we launched a new Bumps & Babes group in Lymm, which now meets every Tuesday morning at 10.30 am at the Sanctuary Café, next to the library . As with the other groups, there is a suggested donation of £1 for attending and both members and non-members are welcome.

New for 2012 is a bumps and babes group at Prendoolys Indoor Play Centre, Newton-le-willows.  The group is from 10.30am onwards every Wednesday during term times and your first tea or coffee is free!

Our B&B events are a great way to meet people and start building a support network.

Coffee mornings

Our popular Lymm coffee morning runs on a Friday morning in a different member’s house each week (there is no obligation to host an event yourself if you don’t want to and you don't have to be resident in Lymm to attend). We have also recently revived our North Warrington coffee morning, which will be held fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month - please email us at northcheshirenct@yahoo.co.uk for location details.
