Get involved
Volunteers, parents and expectant parents just like you, run our branch. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, just commit whatever time you can or your previous experience and skills. It is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and represent the NCT. Get in touch and get involved.
General Committee Members
The committee meet approximately once a month and anyone is welcome to attend. We are all volunteers with other commitments and we need your help and support to ensure the continued running of the branch. If you would like to attend a committee meeting please contact us at nctplymouthandwestdevon@yahoo.co.uk
Newsletter Team Members
Would you like to join the newsletter production team? We produce four newsletters a year. We meet just before the deadline and put together the contribtions and adverts that we have, it is always more fun together than one person trying to do it on their own. If you are interested please contact us at nctplymouthandwestdevon@yahoo.co.uk
Would you like to write a piece for our newsletter? We are always on the lookout for new articles such as birth stories or your take on any aspect of life with babies and toddlers. Please email us at nctplymouthandwestdevon@yahoo.co.uk with any suggestions.
Coffee Morning Hosts
Ivybridge, Tavistock and Plymouth hold open house meetings but these can only go ahead if we have hosts. People worry that their house is too small too messy no toys for older toddlers. All these problem are not problems, there is a small group mostly with babies on their laps and people are happy to sit on the floor, people will bring toys with them if asked and as for mess nobody worries. If you feel you can host contact us at nctplymouthandwestdevon@yahoo.co.uk.
