An NCT supported group for anyone living in Plymouth and West Devon and is interested in having their baby at home. The group meets three times a month and is run by parents who have had their own babies born at home.

The group is an informal group and its aim is for parents to feel empowered and confident to have their home births. By talking with other mums and dads who have experienced a Home birth we hope people will feel happy with their decision and enjoy the experience!!

We are very fortunate to have the presence of a Midwife at the Plymouth group in Woolwell and the Ivybridge group to help answer any questions.

Also we now have 12 birthing pools available to borrow if a Water Birth is what you would like. Available to borrow from 3 weeks before your due date until 2 weeks after. Both groups also have a wide range of the latest texts books on natural and home birth available to borrow. Please come along to the group or phone me on 01752 249405 for more details or booking a pool. The pools are free to borrow but you will need to pay £30 for a new liner to use with the pool.

The group meets on:

• 1st Monday of the month at Daisy Children's Centre, Totnes 7.30-9pm
• 1st Tuesday of the month at SeaMoor Children's Centre, Ivybridge 7.30-9pm
• 2nd Thursday of every month at Woolwell Community Centre, Darklake Lane, Woolwell, PL6 7TR 7-8.30pm
