Welcome to the Preston and Fylde NCT. This is my first year as Chair of the Preston and Fylde District Committee.

I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little about the Preston and Fylde District committee. We are a small group of people who want others to benefit from everything the NCT offers; this is why we volunteer to help. We are part of a team in which everyone’s contribution is encouraged and valued; there are no bad ideas. We are volunteers in a charity that supports parents and we will always say, without fear of criticism, when our own families have to come first. We know that we will probably make mistakes and we are prepared to admit them in order to move forward.

We are currently looking to build the number of volunteers who are willing and able to help the branch to enable local parents to-be and new parents to support each other through a range of local activities, services and information. Come and join us whatever your skill, experience or knowledge; your enthusiasm and interest is the biggest and most relevant attribute.
