Softplay
Welcome to Softplay
If you have never been to the NCT Softplay sessions at Matchborough East Meeting Rooms, then you're in for a bit of a surprise! Inside the fairly uninspiring 1960's building is a mini playbarn, kitted out with slides, lots of climbing blocks, things to swing on and a see-saw – all nicely padded with foam and plastic to make for a really safe but fun play-time!
Come along with your little ones and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while they burn off some energy climbing, jumping, exploring and generally having lots of energetic fun! Children are provided with a drink of squash or water and a biscuit at snack time. All refreshments are included within the entry fee of £1.50 plus 50p for each additional child.
There are also plenty of toys and books out on soft matting for babies and smaller children to play with or indeed for the bigger ones to enjoy if they prefer.
You do not have to be a member of the NCT to attend the sessions.
We hosts two sessions of softplay each week:
- Tuesday 9.45am – 11.15am for bumps, babies and toddlers up to their 2nd birthday (to give the little ones an opportunity to crawl and explore without bigger children around!)
- Wednesday 10.00am – 11.30am for bumps, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers up to 4 years.
And from Monday 16 April 2012, we will be hosting a session on Mondays from 1pm until 2.30pm (for all children up to school age). Ideal if you're little one has stopped napping in the day!
