It can be so hard to meet people with babies/children the same age. Tea groups are a great way to make friends and generally experience the highs and lows of motherhood with people doing the same journey at the same time. And you don't just have to talk about babies!

Anyone is welcome to come to a tea group, you don't have to be a NCT member. You can attend a NCT tea group whether you have a bump, baby or child.

We help to set up the tea groups for new Mums by organising the first meetings, checking that everybody knows each other and making sure they are up and running. After that we let the groups develop in their own way.

Groups usually meet weekly at each other’s houses for tea, biscuits and a chat. We set up about four groups every year bringing babies of a similar age and their Mums together.
