Thanks to everyone for a fantastic "Gold Standard" Spring Nearly New Sale!

Our spring Nearly New Sale this April was a great day and I hope those of you who braved the wild weather found lots of great bargains. Our sales are our biggest fundraising events and all the money raised goes to support new parents and families.

Our next Nearly New Sale is on Sunday 14th October 2012 and is open from 11.30am - 1pm. If you'd like to get involved helping plan for the sale please get in touch - you make the sales successful!

 14th October 2012 Nearly New Sale

At the next sale there will be early entry for members from 11.15am.

There'll be great bargains available including toys for babies, toddlers and children, games, puzzles, clothes, baby equipment, pushchairs, cots, highchairs, bikes and other ride-on toys. And we are now a Gold Standard Sale! So you can be assured of a brilliant sale with a great variety of items for sale and organised by a fantastic team of friendly volunteers.

Want to sell at the Nearly New Sale?

Packs will be available 6 weeks before the sale, from around 3rd September.

Packs provide details of what you can sell and how to do it. There is also a price guide and labels to attach to all your items. You will also need to come to help at the sale on the day. Please follow the instructions in your pack to let us know what shift you would like to volunteer for. An added bonus is that you will have "helpers' buy time" on the day - in return for your help you will have the chance to snap up bargains before the sale opens to the public

Pacls willl cost £10. Cheques can be made payable to NCT Rugby Branch. This includes a refundable deposit of £7.50. £7.50 is returned with your sellers cheque (the money you've made from the sale!) Details of where to send your cheque will be posted here nearer the time.

Can you help organise the sale or help on the day?

Without volunteers like you the sales can't happen! We have one or two planning meetings before the sale then an evening where we stuff the goodie bags with leaflets from sponsors.

After the sale we have another evening where we sort through the tickets from sold items to work out how much money sellers have made! You don't need to come to all of the meetings / sorting sessions - just whatever time you can spare!

• Could you arrange adverts in the local paper?
• Could you shop for the cakes and biscuits to keep everyone going during the sale?
• Could you pick up the clothes rails from the barn where we store them?
