The branch is run by local parent volunteers, offering support, information and friendship to new parents and parents-to-be. Our area covers the whole of South Gloucestershire, including the postcodes of BS16, BS34, BS36, BS37 GL9 and newly added BS15.

Members and non-members of the NCT are more than welcome to take part in everything the branch has to offer. We'd love to hear from you, whether you're breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, whatever your birth experience, new to the area or have lived here all your life. We're here for all parents.

 The branch currently offers a variety of activities and services, including antenatal classes, home birth group, local coffee mornings, breastfeeding support, nearly new sales, a dedicated clothing bank and social events to name but a few! 

We are pleased to announce we have two NEW coffee mornings starting in Kingswood.  The first is at Castaways on the first Friday of each month from 2.00 - 3.30pm and then also Bumps and Babies (specifically for expectant parents and those with babies under 6 months) on the third Tuesday of each month 10.30am to 12.00noon please email Claire at clairejen21@hotmail.com.  Please click on the events search for more details. 

We currently have coffee mornings in Bradley Stoke (the last Friday of each month 10am - 12noon at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre), Bromley Heath/Downend/Emersons Green (every Thursday 10.30am -12noon please email thomas00wendy@hotmail.com for venue details) and Thornbury (Jungle Chums near Thornbury the first Tuesday of each month 10am to 12noon) plus two support groups, the Homebirth Group and C-section and VBAC group both held at Mangotsfield Surestart Children's Centre.  Please click on our events search for details of our upcoming events.

Nearly New Sales are our most poplur events and the place to buy high quality used baby equipment, toys, clothes and maternity wear. OUR NEXT NEARLY NEW SALE is at Emerson's Green village hall on Sunday 8th July starting at 2.30pm for NCT Members and 2.45pm for the general public.  Entry is £1.00 per adult.

To keep updated about all our forthcoming social and fundraising events you might like to join our Yahoo egroups. Our social egroup will send you notices of all our events, and our discussion egroup is a forum to chat with other local parents. Feel free to join both. We also have a thriving Facebook group which is open to everyone.
