New and expectant parents often spend money on items they believe they need for their new arrival, only to find that some products don't work for them. Our sling and nappy library has been set up by two branch members so that parents have the chance to 'try before they buy', which will hopefully help them make decisions before potentially wasting hundreds of pounds on something they won't use. Our sling and nappy library can be found at both the Stafford and Stone Babywearing Meets. These groups are held once a month and, for a small fee, parents can take slings and nappy sets home and see what works for them. (Our hiring service is currently unavailable)

Our Stafford babywearing meet & nappucino takes place on the second Wednesday of each month at Stafford Baptist Church, The Green (next to the Apollo Cinema), from 1pm to 3pm.  

Our Stone babywearing meet & nappucino takes place on the first Monday of each month at Manor Hill Children's Centre, Manor Rise, Stone, from 11.00am to 1.00pm.

If you would like to hire a sling, we charge £5 for a month's hire and also ask for a £30 deposit (which is given back to you when slings are safely returned to the library).  We need to ask for a deposit in case any damage occurs to the sling and we need to get it fixed/replaced (but don't worry! We don't do anything without your permission!)

Our cloth nappy sets aren't yet available to hire, however when they are we will be charging £10 for one month's hire and will ask for a £30 refundable deposit.  We anticipate that the sets will contain a selection of different brands and styles of nappies so that parents can find which best suits them and their child.
