We have a number of opportunities for you to join us:

Nearly New Sale Helper

We are looking for someone who can support our dedicated Nearly New Sale Coordinator Bethan to oversee the running of our busy sales. This role would involve a number of activities, including:

• help to set up the sale for couple of hours on the evening before
• help to welcome sellers as they arrive with their items and get them signed in
• help to welcome volunteers as they arrive and get them to their allocated post
• help to welcome buyers as they arrive and assist with queries
• help with general clear up and stay at the end of the sale to help re-unite sellers with their unsold items

This role would be great for someone who does not have time to spare every week, but would like to get involved to support our most popular activity. It would be a great way to meet new people as it is a real team effort!

Open House Coordinator

We like to run social events for parents in the local area to get together, share experiences and for the children to meet others and play. There are a number of people already willing to host, but we need someone to organise and promote these events.

Pregnancy and Baby Fair volunteers

Our popular Pregnancy and Baby Fair has been run for the past three years and is an excellent opportunity to learn some event organising skills.

Adhoc volunteering

If you don't feel able to commit to a specific role at the moment, then you could still get involved. Why not come along to our branch meetings and see what comes up that interests you. Or you could simply help out at an event, such as the Nearly New Sales to meet new friends.

We are a team of about ten people who get together once a month in the evenings in one of our homes. We talk about items on the agenda, but there is always a chance to catch up and socialise too.
