A chance for parents to be and parents of babies up to approx 1 year to come and have a cuppa and chat to other mums (and occasional dad!) a Breastfeeding counsellor also attends regularly.

May 2008 saw the launch of our ‘bumps n babes’ drop-in sessions at St Johns Church in Muxton, for parents to be and parents of children up to approx 1 year. Seeing mums making friends and comparing lack of sleep etc.. has been very heart-warming and getting to cuddle so many new babies (and lots of twins too!) is just a treat!

So if you have a baby on the way or you’re already a new parent why not pop along and join us? If you’ve been on one of our Antenatal courses the session is a very easy way to reunite with your fellow course mates and meet each other’s new arrivals. You do not need to be an NCT member to come along though.

The group runs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month (including during school holidays) from 1 to 2.45pm. All we ask for is a small donation of £1.50 per family to cover the hall cost and copious amounts of tea and biscuits!
