Baby changing and feeding

Trowbridge, Melksham & Bradford on Avon NCT will be providing a baby feeding and changing tent at events in the local area following the success of our tent at the National Play Day 6^th August in Trowbridge Park. The tent provides a space for feeding and changing babies, a space to shelter and play in as well as promoting our branch. Toy and Gift Sale

On Saturday 19^th November 10.15 – 1pm at St Laurence School, Bradford on Avon, we will be holding a toy and trade stall sale. It provides a good opportunity to buy second hand toys and buy crafts, gifts and find out about local businesses. NCT members will be admitted from 10 am. Sellers must register and trade stalls are £15 per table (no electricity) by e-mailing Saskia on saskiahobson@live.co.uk

Babes & Biscuits

Every Wednesday from 24^th August at ‘Growing Needs’ in Bradford on Avon we are holding a Babes & Biscuits group aimed at first time and experienced parents for some postnatal support, feeding support, a chat with other parents in a relaxed, supportive, friendly atmosphere. We can tailor the group to the needs of the parenting community be it holiday activities for when toddler groups don’t run to sharing birth stories or just somewhere to chat about being a parent. Antenatal classes

NCT Ante-natal courses are now booked on a regional basis. If you are interested in these classes, our local contact is Melanie. If you email her on bookings3d@nct.org.uk with your due date, she will contact you with details of the courses that are running in the area.

Antenatal Yoga

The NCT is now running a brand new 'Relax, Stretch & Breathe' class alongside our other antenatal courses. The classes focus on gentle postures, breathing techniques, positions for labour and relaxation. The aim is for you to have an enjoyable and relaxing time, whilst improving your physical and emotional wellbeing and helping you feel more confident and positive about birth. The postures are very gentle, specifically designed so you can attend throughout your pregnancy (after 12 weeks) and can be adapted to individual needs. The classes are every Tuesday evening from 7.15pm to 9.00pm.
