The Wimbledon & Wandsworth NCT branch offers support, information and friendship to parents and parents-to-be. Joining our branch gives you access to a wide range of information and opportunities, such as a quarterly magazine, Nearly New Sales, social events, courses, breastfeeding counsellors and playgroups.

Wiggle & Giggle Jubilee Disco - Thursday 24th May 2.30-4.30pm

Join us for our latest event, a busy afternoon of dancing (Zumba and a disco) and afternoon tea at the Sacred Heart Church, Wimbledon. £5 per child, tickets to be purchased ahead of the day. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture your little one throwing some shapes!

Are you expecting?

Congratulations, we hope we can provide you with advice and courses which will make your pregnancy go smoothly and introduce you to other Expectant Parents.

Come along to a Welcome Evening, meet other parents to be, new parents and those new to the area - learn about what the NCT does to support you, we're here to offer big sis (NCT) advice. Regular evenings are held over the year, places go quickly, book yours asap ~ the next one takes place on Tuesday 12th June.

Nearly New Sales - Saturday 16th June 2012 - bookings now being taken

A great opportunity to pick up clothes, toys and equipment at a fraction of High Street prices. Also a great way to sell unwanted items now the kids are bigger! The next Nearly New Sale takes place Saturday 16th June 2012 at the Aspire Centre, Merton Road SW18 5JU. Sale runs from 10.30am-12.30pm. Entry is £2, early entry at 10.15am for NCT members (don't forget to bring your membership card!).

The Big Push - Tuesday 19th June 2pm, Wimbledon Common Windmill Cafe

Join us for a sponsored buggy push event, meet other parents on a walk round the common whilst raising funds to help parents combat feeling isolated. Create a sponsorship page and get friends and family to sponsor you. Pack your waterproofs, just in case and enjoy an fun afternoon out.

First Aid Course - bookings now being taken

Gain confidence with how to handle incidents in and out of the home with our first aid course, they take place regularly. The next available courses take place on Tuesday 19th June and Tuesday 31st July 2012, see here for more details, bookings are now being taken. £55 per person or £100 per couple.

WE NEED YOU!

Volunteer and help make the Wimbledon and Wandsworth branch a great way to help other parents and make new friends! We're always on the look out for parents and parents to be who'd like to help us with their work skills and experiences, all we ask is an hour or two of your time - a great way for Mums to use your hard earned skills and a great one for your CV! Bumps, Babies and Beyond

Come along and meet parents to be, new parents and babies and those with toddlers every Friday 10.30am - 12pm at the Wimbledon Park Bowling Pavillion, Wimbledon Park. Parking is available and for £2 per adult there will be tea, biscuits, toys, friendly chat and support available. No need to book, drop in and make new friends! Members and non-members are welcome. Looking to meet other parents?

A wide range of playgroups, courses and social events take place which will introduce you to other Parents in the area. Alternatively join the NCT Yahoo Group and post a query to members in Wimbledon and Wandsworth, contact Shirley to join.

Courses

Antenatal, Yoga for Pregnancy, Postnatal and Refresher Courses are available, a great way to prepare yourself for the birth of your baby, meet others in your area and remind yourself how it's done! If you want to book a course or have more questions, please contact Louise.
