For parents-to-be we have a range of courses, events and information which will help prepare you for your baby's arrival, offer advice and provide the opportunity to meet other expectant parents in your area.

Welcome Evenings

Every few months the Branch holds a Welcome Evening for expectant parents, new parents and those new to the area. This is an informal evening and provides an opportunity to meet other expectant parents.

Come along to a Welcome Evening and learn about what the NCT does to support you. Regular evenings are held over the year, with the next taking place on Tuesday 2nd July 2013 - places go quickly, book yours asap ~ email Daniela for more information.

Antenatal Classes

Antenatal Classes are a great way to help parents-to-be understand the stages leading up to childbirth; breathing techniques, pain relief options, a time to ask questions and a chance to meet other expectant parents, both mums and dads-to-be. A range of antenatal classes are available along with courses that offer a refresher for those expecting their second/third/more baby and exercise courses for you leading up to your baby's delivery. Classes usually start in the seventh or eight month, booking sooner rather than later will secure your place and will be a task ticked off your 'where do I start?' list!

Bumps, Babies and Beyond - every Friday

Come along and meet parents to be, new parents and babies and those with toddlers every Friday 10.30am - 12pm at the Wimbledon Park Pavillion, Wimbledon Park. Parking is available and for £2 per adult there will be tea, biscuits, toys, friendly chat and support available. No need to book, drop in and make new friends! For more info contact Natasha.

Wimbledon Breastfeeding Drop In - every Thursday

We are very pleased and excited with the launch of Wimbledon Breastfeeding Drop In support for Mums, lottery funded, and run by experienced NCT breastfeeding counsellors, 10am-12pm and every Thursday thereafter. This will be held at the Gooseberry Bush Studio, Gooseberry Cafe, 115 Kingston Road, SW19 1LT

Nearly New Sales 

A great opportunity to pick up clothes, toys and equipment at a fraction of High Street prices. Also a great way to sell unwanted items now the kids are bigger! The next Nearly New Sale takes place on Saturday 9th March 2013 at the Aspire Centre, Merton Road SW18 5JU. Sale runs from 10.30am-12.30pm. Entry is £2, early entry at 10.15am for NCT members (don't forget to bring your membership card!).

Bra Fitting Service

At the NCT we understand how important it is to have a comfortable, well-fitting and supportive bra both during and after pregnancy. Our range of maternity and feeding bras have been tried and tested by thousands of real mothers - so you can be confident that you will feel both comfortable and well supported whilst feeding your baby. Every woman is different, so to help ensure that you are buying a bra that fits you, the Branch can now offer a FREE personal fitting service.
