Welcome Evenings

Every few months the Branch holds a welcome evening for expectant parents, new parents and those new to the area.

Come along to a Welcome Evening and learn about what the NCT does to support you. Regular evening are held over the year, places go quickly, book yours asap ~ next one takes place on Tuesday 12th June or email Daniela for more information.

Bumps, Babies and Beyond 

Come along and meet parents to be, new parents and babies and those with toddlers every Friday 10.30am - 12pm at the Wimbledon Park Pavillion, Wimbledon Park. Parking is available and for £2 per adult there will be tea, biscuits, toys, friendly chat and support available. No need to book, drop in and make new friends! For more info contact Emma.

Nearly New Sales - Saturday 16th June 2012 - bookings now being taken

A great opportunity to pick up clothes, toys and equipment at a fraction of High Street prices. Also a great way to sell unwanted items now the kids are bigger! The next Nearly New Sale takes place Saturday 16th June 2012 at the Aspire Centre, Merton Road SW18 5JU. Sale runs from 10.30am-12.30pm. Entry is £2, early entry at 10.15am for NCT members (don't forget to bring your membership card!).

Postnatal Courses

New to the area with a new baby? Meet other Mums at a postnatal class/playgroups/new Mums sessions.

Calling all new Mums in Wimbledon and Wandsworth!

We run regular new parents meet-ups where you can get together with other Mums and Dads in a baby-friendly setting and share your experiences over a cup of coffee. For more information email Natasha.

Playgroups

Playgroups are friendly and informal, the cost is from £1.00 per session including tea, coffee, juice & biscuits. Any help with setting up the hall or donating toys is gratefully appreciated.

First Aid Course - bookings now being taken

Gain confidence with how to handle incidents in and out of the home with our first aid course, they take place regularly. The next available courses take place on Tuesday 19th June and Tuesday 31st July 2012, see here for more details, bookings now being taken. £55 per person or £100 per couple.

Bra Fitting Service

At the NCT we understand how important it is to have a comfortable, well-fitting and supportive bra both during and after pregnancy. Our range of maternity and feeding bras have been tried and tested by thousands of real mothers - so you can be confident that you will feel both comfortable and well supported whilst feeding your baby. Every woman is different, so to help ensure that you are buying a bra that fits you, the Branch now offers a FREE personal fitting service. Breastfeeding Counsellors & Helpline

The NCT runs a breastfeeding helpline which provides information and support on feeding your baby - 0870 444 8708. Our counsellors will support you and provide information however you decide to feed your baby. For more information and support see our Breastfeeding Support page.

Valley Cushion Loan

Will you want a valley cushion after the birth of your child? Contact Jane 020 8788 4006 or Sarah 020 8715 9317or email for more details. The NCT loans Valley cushions for a small charge in your area.

Refresher Course

Did you know there are refresher courses for those having subsequent children? Why take one? Here are the things women said beforehand...
