Yoga for Pregnancy / Relax, Stretch & Breathe drop-in in Fareham Branch - 9A/C105
NCT Relax, Stretch and Breathe (yoga based exercise) classes are held as a weekly drop-in. You can start coming to RSB any time after 12 weeks of pregnancy. Please contact your local teacher to check availability and register. The classes are held on Wednesdays from 7-8.30 pm.
In addition to a warm, friendly atmosphere, and gentle exercise and relaxation, there is discussion about aspects of birthing each week, with reference to evidence-based information. Each session is rounded off with friendly chat over biscuits, often with a mum from the class who has recently given birth. You need to wear loose comfortable clothing, and bring a non-slip mat, a cushion and blanket for your comfort, and some water. Sessions cost £8 and discounts of up to 90% are available for those on benefits or low incomes - please ask your teacher for more information about concessions.
