Run by local parents, we offer support, information and friendship to new parents and parents-to-be in Aberdeen City & Shire - all welcome!!

Events with children

Area reps and members hold regular get togethers, with coffee/tea and cakes. Events can be simply a chat and play in their homes, walks, going for a swim, meeting at the park etc., at other times everyone gets together to arrange something bigger (Cheeky Monkey Tea party, Music Concert etc.) and everyone is welcome. You can even go to meet ups outwith your area but please contact the host first to check the event is still on.

Bumps & Babies is the regular meeting in Queens Cross Church for expectant mums and those with babies up to about one year old. This group is fantastic for new parents (Dads too!) and bumps with plenty of time to relax and find other people going through the same experiences as yourself (or better still, those who have just gone through and survived!).

Waddling to Toddling is our Monday morning group and is open to babies and toddlers.  It is held in the church hall of St Francis of Assisi Church in Mannofield.  Great as a follow on from Bumps and Babies or why not come along to both.  Plenty of free parking right outside too.

Lunch Bunch is our Friday lunchtime social group for new parents and parents-to-be. Meet and chat with other parents at the same or a similar stage over a cheap and healthy lunch or hot drink.

We also hold some regular "AberDads" events for Dads & children and Dads only nights out too.

Events for adults

There are nights out for mums (and dads) to get together and chat and enjoy some adult conversation and good food. AberDads has recently started and the dads only events are on the last Saturday evening of each month. 

Our Nearly New Sales are incredibly busy and the most fantastic place to pick up a bargain (or ten!). They are a good excuse to declutter the house to make more space (for the new bargains!) and a great way to recycle things, make some money for you and the branch.
