EVERYONE is welcome to help, members or non-members.

Helpers are needed for:

Saturday between 3.00pm - 6.00pm for setting up and seller drop off

  • 3.00pm - 3.30pm set up hall
  • 3.30pm - 4.30pm seller drop off
  • 4.30pm - 6.00pm finish set up

Sunday between 10am and 4.00pm for sale and clear up

  • 10am      volunteers arrive
  • 11.15pm  sale opens for nct members
  • 11.30pm  sale opens for general public
  • 2pm       sale closes
  • 2pm - 4.00pm clear up and seller pick up

The saturday starts with set-up duties. These include laying out the tables and clothes rails, then unpacking and displaying clothes, toys and equipment, putting up signs, sorting seller boxes and preparing pay tables. This all needs to be finished by 6.00pm.

The sale opens at 11.15pm (nct members) and 11.30pm for the general public. Duties include collecting at the door, manning pay tables (nct members required), keeping the hall tidy and helping buyers with carrying items to the pay area and general enquiries.

Sale finishes at 2pm and then the clear-up duties commence. These involve sorting unsold goods into piles for sellers to collect, tidying the hall area and removing tables. We especially need people to help during sale and clear-up shifts

If you fancy getting involved with the nct and volunteering, it is important to contact me before the sale leaving your phone number or email address, as soon as you know you can help. I can then pre-allocate tasks and better plan the day.

To volunteer please email: nns.basingstoke@yahoo.co.uk indicating the day and times you are available to help.

We only allow advertising at our sale through our pre packed buyer bags. If you want your goods/services to be advertised to our 500+ buyers, all interested in buying baby or children's goods then email adverts@basingstokenct.org.uk.
