Fundraising and Grants Applications

As a charity we are always looking for funding so any time or ideas you can offer would be great.  Specifically we need someone urgently who can write grant applications to funding bodies for help with specialist worker training.

Area Reps' Co-ordinator 

The Area Reps’ Co-ordinator is the central point of contact within the branch for all Area Reps. She arranges quarterly Area Reps Meetings to help with the sharing of ideas and experiences and newsletter distribution and is the first contact point for Area Reps with problems or concerns.

First Aid Course Co-ordinator

Our first aid courses not only provide critical information for new parents but also generate much needed branch funding.

The courses are provided by independent instructors and are very easy to fill. Responsibilities involve co-ordinating the venue and instructors, taking bookings, collecting payment and passing it on to the Treasurer.

You can either attend the courses (for free) or advertise for NCT members to course-sit for you.  It is a nice compact job that really helps the branch.

Little Folk in Basingstoke, Under 5's Guide Team 

Our very popular guide to what’s happening locally Little Folk in Basingstoke is due for an update.  The team needs a couple more members to get this off the ground.  If you have benefitted from this guide and would like other parents to do the same please contact Julie

Publicity Team 

Do you have, or want to gain media experience? We need someone to help imporve our presence in the local community by singing our praises to the press and publicising our events.

Coffee & Chat co-ordination Team 

Coffee & Chat is fast bedcoming the focal point for many of Basingstoke NCT's activities.  If you could spare a couple of hours on a Friday morning to help set out the room, welcome attendees and put away the toys at the end please contact Stephany

Area Rep 

No coffee morinings in your area?  Maybe you can help create a thriving community of mums and dads helping each other.  Areas currently without a rep are: Tadley, Brighton Hill, Hatch Warren, Kempshott, Oakridge and Whitchurch.  For more information contact Emma

 Value Add Team

No commitment, just add your email address to our VAT list so we can ask for help when needed.  A great way to volunteer as and when it suits YOU.
