Course prices

The NCT is a registered UK charity (no. 801395). We charge for our antenatal and postnatal courses in order to pay the expenses of running the course.

Charges for classes vary depending on where you are in the country - use the course finder to check which band you come under or contact your booking administrator for further information.

Course prices include membership and are per couple (except for women-only courses where they are per person). Please inform your booking administrator if you are already a member, have previously been a member, or don’t want to join at the time of your booking. (See Course prices excluding membership for more information.)

You can also pay for your course in installments.

Antenatal courses

We have a range of courses available from our standard eight-week course for couples to short courses and women-only groups. Please speak to your booking administrator to find out what’s available in your area.

The prices below start from intensive courses and include membership of the NCT. Other courses vary in price.

Antenatal (standard to intensive)

  • Band A: £129-174
  • Band B: £159-219
  • Band C: £199-279

Antenatal Refresher

  • Band A: £89-124
  • Band B: £109-149
  • Band C: £124-189

Early Days (Postnatal) courses

Our courses usually run over several weeks and consist of 10-12 hours. Meetings being held once a week.

  • Band A: £99
  • Band B: £119
  • Band C: £139

Breastfeeding courses

Courses vary, but are expected to include a minimum of 3 two-hour sessions.

Antenatal to Early Days (Perinatal) courses

These courses take you through your transition to parenthood from pregnancy and birth to early days with your baby.

  • Band A: £214
  • Band B: £269
  • Band C: £339
"What I really appreciated is that most courses look at how to be a better mum through focusing on the baby, while the NCT looks at what it means to be a parent. The course provided a safe space to talk about anything that was on my mind. Nothing we said was rejected. Reduced price options

We would like to make sure every parent can benefit from our courses. We therefore have lower prices for parents on lower incomes or in receipt of certain benefits. These concessions vary from a minimum payment of £20 to discounts of 5-50% off the full course price.
