Get involved

Volunteers, parents and expectant parents just like you, run our branch. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, just commit whatever time you can or your previous experience and skills. It is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and represent the NCT. Get in touch and get involved.

Activities

The Halstead Branch currently offers:

• Quarterly Newsletters for all members
• Weekly Bumps & Babes sessions in Halstead and Sudbury
• Coffee mornings at members’ houses
• Nearly New Sales
• Emergency First Aid for Babies classes
• An Experiences Register offering support for particular illnesses or conditions
• Evenings out for parents
• Craft mornings for toddlers
• Fire station visits

Volunteers

If you would like to help at our Nearly New Sales, and get the chance to look round and buy before the doors open, or help run a Parent & Toddler Session then we would be delighted to hear from you.

You do not have to be a member of the NCT or a parent of small children to be a volunteer: we welcome help from all members of society.
