NCT High Wycombe and District Branch

Welcome

Run by local parents, we offer support, information and friendship to new parents and parents-to-be. We have a lot of branch events offering support to expectant and new parents, as well as plenty of social and fundraising events. New faces are always welcome.

We run a weekly drop-in Bumps and Babes session for expectant parents and for parents of small babies. For older children we have a regular session, the 123 Club at Moonbase, Handy Cross, with reduced admission for those with a voucher (available from the branch newsletter).

The branch aims to provide post-natal support to each antenatal class group from the end of the course until the babies are a few weeks old. Volunteers to provide support to new parents at this special time are always welcome.

We hold Nearly New Sales 4 times a year to raise funds for the branch and to allow you to buy and sell toys, equipment and clothes. Volunteers, buyers and sellers are always welcome - volunteers get to shop in advance and bag the best of the bargains!

On the social front Mum's Night Out meets on the second Wednesday of each month and is a great opportunity to meet new people. This is purely social event with no fixed venue or agenda. For more details visit the High Wycombe NCT Facebook Group.

If you're feeling in need of a little intellectual stimulation the branch Reading Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month to discuss this month's chosen title. See below for contact details.

Getting involved

As with all charity groups we depend on the skills, dedication and time of our friends, family and members to keep all our activities running. Whether you have a couple of hours a week spare or an afternoon every other month we would love to hear from you.
