Antenatal Classes — The branch offers a variety of antenatal classes including NCT Yoga for Pregnancy classes (see below) and Early Pregnancy Classes (for expectant parents in the first 26 weeks of pregnancy) . Some are in teachers’ own homes, some in Petersfield Hospital and other venues around the area. Some classes are during the evening and others are during the day. Refresher classes for couples who’ve done it all before (!) and one-to-one classes can usually be arranged to suit you. Antenatal & Postnatal Libraries — We hold a collection of books relating to antenatal and postnatal subjects, these are available for loan free of charge.

Bra fitting service — The branch has its own NCT Bras for Breastfeeding volunteer agent, who can measure and fit you for maternity and feeding bras from NCT’s award winning range.

Breastfeeding Support & Information — We have a local breastfeeding counsellor who offers support and information on feeding.

Breast Pumps — You may require an electric breast pump to help feed a sick or premature baby, or because you are returning to work. Whatever the reason, we can help. We have 4 breast pumps available for hire at a low daily rate (concessions available depending on individual circumstances).

Home Birth Support — Considering a home birth? We offer home birth support coffee mornings once a month. Call 0844 243 6241 for more information.

MSLC Rep — The Maternity Services Liaison Committee is a group who discuss the maternity needs and provision of services for the area. The committee is made up of professionals and lay people. Our rep on this committee provides a voice for the NCT, if you have any issues please contact us.

NCT Yoga for Pregnancy/Antenatal Classes - A weekly class of stretches and relaxation for women over 12 weeks pregnant with lots of extra information for labour and afterwards. Contact Virginia on 01730 823 264 for further information.

Nearly New Sales — Our Nearly New Sales are legendary! Kitting out a new baby is expensive – and it doesn’t stop there! That’s what the NCT Nearly New Sales are for. High quality baby items at knockdown prices. The branch usually holds two sales every year, in Spring and Autumn, sometimes with an extra sale in the summer months. These are a great opportunity to clear the loft of items you no longer need and to pick up some bargains on those you do – all in the name of a very good cause. Newsletter — The branch posts a quarterly newsletter direct to all our members. The newsletter contains lots of useful information plus interesting articles. Please contact us if you have any queries regarding the newsletter.

Online Groups — Get online to find chat groups on a range of topics at a local or UK-wide level.

Parents' Guide to Petersfield and Liss — A fantastic handbook containing information that no new parent should be without.

Postnatal Course - Early Days - We will soon be able to offer a postnatal course. Called Early Days, this is a six week course, two hours per week led by a postnatal facilitator. The course is designed to give new mums the confidence to make choices by discussing them within a group. Topics that will be discussed can range from the following, feeding/sleep/crying/colic, adapting to motherhood, expectation versus reality, returning to work and childcare, dealing with advice etc. It is also a great opportunity to meet other new mums too. Postnatal Support & Social Events — We organise a network of get-togethers that give you the chance to meet up with other parents. Our Baby Talk groups are drop-ins for parents/carers and babies from birth to mobility, while our toddler group (Small Talk) caters for older children.   See After Baby for details

Valley Cushions — Valley cushions provide welcome relief from the discomfort of sitting after stitches from a vaginal birth. They are a superior alternative to ring cushions, and are available for hire from our Valley Cushion Agent.
