Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is most commonly used to help gain relief from back/neck pain, muscular or joint problems, and stress complaints.
It can be extremely helpful in pregnancy and, after the birth of your child, with:
  • Regaining good posture
  • Getting back into shape
The Alexander Technique can also help you understand how to ‘protect your back’ and avoid back pain as you go about the activities of parenthood. Examples are:
  • Carrying your baby
  • Bending to lift your baby out of a cot, playpen, buggy and car
  • Pushing a buggy
  • Feeding, changing and bathing your baby.
